Mission
Our mission is to improve the physical, psychological, and social wellbeing of elephants in both wild and managed settings by fostering global collaboration; supporting and funding impactful elephant-focused projects; advancing the ethical and responsible exchange of knowledge, technology, and care practices across borders; and creating meaningful educational opportunities that connect people to elephants through observation, respect, and understanding.
Collaborative funding: Supporting elephant-focused projects around the world.
Knowledge exchange: Promoting ethical sharing of research, care, and technology.
Education & learning: Hosting programs and experiences that connect people with elephants responsibly.
Global connection: Strengthening communication and collaboration between organizations caring for elephants in diverse environments.
Elephant Wellness Project was created to support the people and organizations already doing essential work with elephants worldwide. By fostering collaboration, ethical funding, and shared learning, we aim to strengthen these efforts and ensure elephants live with dignity, choice, and social connection.
